So I'm 17 on my standard 1l I'm looking at around 2 grand for my standard car what else to people pay and who are they with

Also 17 and the car is registered as a one litre, I have a black box and that brings it to around £1300 mate, I'm with think-insurance

its crazy for a 1.0 micra, just unjustifiable money, I always said I wouldn't get a black box but just couldn't afford the 2 grand

I was planning that untill I basically blew the engine and wrecked the gear box so I dumped a 1.4 in and what a difference, well worth the thought

You will be amazed what you can get away with before you void your policy one "stock" car in looks wise this is mine £2k a year insurance as well but im 19 buy rolled my last micra

also has some minor interior mods paint can go a long way js

I know your pain...Im 42 and its cost me1k to insure a 1.0l Had m/c for years and no car. The companies are rip off. Although i did get qouted 2k from one insurer

I'm 28 and paid just over £300, was about 260 but I took out legal cover

iirc, mine was about £600, mods declared when I was 22.
