kath past her driving test yesterday 1st time and i have now informed her insurance company, her insurance has now gone up £66 because she is driving by herself absolutely madness as she has a 50cc scooter thats she's been riding for 7 years by herself so its nothing new to her being by herself

Mine went down like 400 quid from my 1.6 marea, that made me dam happy!

dont understand why it should go up though ???
ye i may of been a passenger with a full licence but what could i of done
in an emergency ?? as its all down to the reactions of the driver like it is now
unless you have dual controls fitted.
i am probably older than a lot on here i am 44 at the weekend but was
just surprised to see an increase in premium thats all i thought i was just changing
her licence status from provisonal uk to full uk.

Can't she swap her no claims over from the scooter to the car, a friend of mine did and now he's got 8yrs nc at 24

as far as i am aware you can't use scooter ncb on a car policy

as others said 66 quid aint bad I payed 3 grand for my insurance last year dramatically dropped thanks god for this year
