ignition switch issues

Good morning, I have to turn the key in the ignition very hard to get the car to turn over. I´ve been told it's a faulty contact. Should I replace the switch or is it fixable?

Are you sure it’s the switch?
i have one if you are local to Sussex.
complete with NATS ring and keys and ecu for a 1L.

Do mind that the switch is seperate from the barrel. You do not need a new key.

Hi, Not on a micra but I had the same problem recently on a ford transit. I expected i would need a new ignition switch but took the cover off and unplugged all the leads and looms going to the ignition and sprayed them with contact cleaner. It fixed the issue and hasnt come back since. You may be lucky....
