Daughter has a K12 wit the key less entry, some times she struggles to turn the ignition, you have to press the brake and jiggle the steering wheel quite a big amount is this normal?

The K12 Micra is a bulletproof car. It's great... but has 3 issues. Defective key fob, stupid radio and horrible headlights (later corrected).
I own 2 K12's. one '04 and one '07. The '04 has a keyless start and not only is it difficult to start (just in the way you described) it has wrecked two ignition barrels... Luckily the 07 version doesn't have a keyless start and is much better. You cant really do anything I'm afraid, but next time you buy a K12 avoid the keyless start!
