My dad's got an 06 plate Nissan Micra and we've had a new battery put in it. The radio is now asking for a code. I rang a Nissan Dealer and they said it'd take an hour and £42.50 to reset. Personally I think that's a joke.
I did a bit of research and there are sites where you can pay a fiver an they give you the code BUT you need the code from the side of the radio first.
OK - but how do you get the radio out in the first place? There's no screws. There are 4 buttony looking small circles around it but they don't press in or anything??? There's a tight thin gap around it but do you need special tools to get at it and get it out? Can you get these from Halfords???
