How to change gear selector on auto K11?

Ok, so further to an earlier thread, I'm thinking I might fix my "snapped gear selector" issue with a new unit from a breaking car. Have found one cheap enough... but I want to know, is this an easy transplant?
As in, can I just unbolt the whole unit (stick/selector etc) and bolt another one in its place?

ye basically just that,if afterwards you find the car wont start in p or n at the bottom of the gear stick there is a nut and bolt undo this then you can adjust the link rod so the switch is activated in these positions.

Just a bit of advice on this one... how do I get the unit off? Under the housing there are two bolts at the front - that's fine. But then the back end appears to be welded on or something... is there an easy way of getting the whole thing off?
