Horn Wiring

My MOT is due in a couple of months and need to get this horn sorted as i keep putting it off.

I found this plug tucked up,i assume this is for the horn? Can someone clarify this?

Theres 4 wires on the plug:

Orange w/ Black stripe
Green w/ White stripe
Yellow
Yellow w/ Black stripe

Heres a couple of photos:

I need to know which one is the Live,i dont own a multimetre so cant do it that way

Dead easy mate, use a piece of wire to ground the contacts in turn, the one that sounds the horn is the live (Y)

grounding any wires that are live will blow the fuse lol
the yellow ones are usually airbag

So if the yellow ones are for the airbag...what does the horn plug look like?

the horn ones may be the other 2 ? (grn/orange ?) you could try bridging them with a low amp fuse

The horn wire is the green one. That is the connector for the steering wheel, right?

any yellow plug is an airbag never probe it or anything you will set the bags off if they are fitted and they make a real big bang

But as you already know matt...i dont have an air bag I'll have another look on Sunday and see if theres any more plugs
