Hi all ! I'm looking for a K11 1.4 to buy

Hi all,

I've read many blogs and so about a small and reliable "mini" and the Nissan Micra K11 seems to win this match. So, I'm looking for a K11 to buy, and I think the best will be a 1.4 gazoline (made by Nissan).
Any advices ? All welcome

The 1.4 is a nippy motor, though I believe (I could be wrong), some parts are different from the 1.0 & 1.3, so might be more difficult to source?

A couple of lower mileage 1.4 CVT's on ebay at the moment.

Ok thanks ! There is not a lot of difference in terms of power (1.3 75hp vs 1.4 82 hp) but max. torque at 2800 rpm with the 1.4 vs 4.000+
Should I better look for a 1.3 (most common) ? Is the manual more reliable please ?

I've only had CVT K11's, so can't comment about the manuals, though rule of thumb generally manual gearboxes less to go wrong.

Did you find a K11 1.3 or 1.4 ? Ours is 1.3 ,1994 in the photo if interested .
