HELP K12 wobbly steering wheel!!

Hiya folks, just recently discovered my K12 micra sport plus on an 06 plate has a wobbly steering wheel, feels like its going to come off, also noticed a clonking sound on full lock, and i am supposed to be driving to europe in 3 days time!

Any suggestions, helpful words, i have a spare car just in case but it is a huge merc Eclass and i dont want to go in that!

Jack each front wheel up in turn. Grab the wheel at 3/9 o'clock and 12/6 o'clock and try and rock the wheel to see if it moves at all.

Hi - This happened to mine, after bumping down a curb.
The steering wheel felt like it was going to fall off at any moment, although the car drove straight and true with now wandering.
I took the car to my nearest Nissan dealership thinking the worst. The mechanic appeared 5 minutes after giving him the key telling me it was all fixed.
The bolts holding the stearing wheel on had just came loose, apparently it's a common problem for this model. I gave the guy a drink and breathed a sigh of relief!
