Hi All,

I have a 1993 micra with a problem. The heater motor only works on full setting (number 4) and there is nothing on settings 1,2 or3.

Can anyone tell me where the heater motor resistor pack is located so i can remove it and replace it with a working model.

How easy are the to fit on these models ???

Thanks

Rosey

edit- Wooops i'm a bit slow at replying :D oh well i'll leave what i wrote anyway

It is very easy to replace the resistor,

Under the glovebox section of the dash you'll find a cylinder thing which is the motor for the fan and also a connector.

The connector which is brown has a card attached to it. You take it out by undoing the two screws which hold it in place.

You need to replace the resistor card connected to the brown plug and put it back in and it should work on all 4 speeds.

Here is a picture showing the location of the resistor card

The thingy with the white squiggle on is the motor for the blower.
