there,s a how-to thread with pics in the k11 guides matt (members only tho)
and this tool makes short work of porting, a rollpin welded onto a hex rod, where you slide the end of the emery down the slit and wrap it round to make a sanding drum, that you can increase or reduce the size or taper it

I followed that guide Frank's talking about, I went a bit further than just casting marks though.
These were my tools of choice, the carbide burrs were excellent at removing material.

There's some info of where to remove material from in the guide, I used a few other sources too. I've got a few pictures in progress, but not of the finished piece, need to borrow a camera.
