head gasket

can anyone point me in the direction for a head gasket for my k11 turbo conversion?

they have a few on ebay but as i own a k10 i dont know which one is right for your car apart from K11 lol

i would have thought a stock HG would be alright for low boost micras69, else i guess your looking at a copper one and "o" rings ££

There's a Nismo gasket if you want to waste some cash.

personally, i would go for 1 stock HG, and opened up combustion chambers (the one on the left)

Just to add, I am not saying particularly that it would be negative removing this area, but it is certainly risky as its critical design point of the cylinder head, and thus decent analysis would be needed to check for any problems.

fairplay ed aparently they direct the flow to the middle of the chamber as the piston nears tdc, i doubt they would have any noticable affect tho personally

Oh they do, very very much so. Its a very well developed area of the automotive engine. Critical in fact. Do some research on it, I think you'll be quite enlightened

the hemi-heads on the dragsters are dead smooth tho ed, surely its more relevent to emissions than power gain ?

Nope, Quench area generates turbulence to promove mixture. As the piston arrives at TDC, air exits this tight area and generates turbulence that makes the firefront expand better. :suspect:

My old 4.0L Jeep and the 5.9L v8 I'm preparing have huge quench areas (more than half the cylinder area) Talking about 76's engine, so no emissions.

No idea that mod will do. Certainly this is the smallest quench I've seen.
