hazard light problem?

anybody else have a hazard light switch problem,

ok, my mot is due and the bulb in the hazard light switch stopped working some time ago, Nissan dont/wont sell a bulb only new switches.

been to the breakers today and 3 other switches, the bulbs also dont work, i have swapped the bulb from the rear demister switch and i can get the bulb to light up when the lights are on but not when the hazard's are on, the green indicators work, but not the bulb in the switch, any ideas please?

so it wasnt my imagination as i remember my k plate lx used to flash at the switch itself---why would that be a mot fail though?
my 97 r-reg dont flash either mot guy didnt mention nuting hill

it's an mot fail if i remember correctly :S

hazard light switch should flash to indicate they're on

do your dash-dials indicators both flash when your hazrd switch is on

yes, both green indicators flash and make a noise, but not the switch light
