handbrake help please

Hi all, was out there in the car and my handbrake light came on and wouldent go off, i tapped it with up very slightly before the first click and the light went off, any ideas anyone?, thx all MTB.

Check the oil level in the break cylendar, if you are sure that is fine check the handbrake switch

Hi ed, ahhhhhhhhhhh thx m8 the little handbrake switch was sticking, are they easy to take off?, want to spray the spring with wd to make sure it doesent do it again, thx m8 MTB.
