Handbrake cable or brake issue

So I've started to notice a annoying squeak when braking after Its been on the hand brake (parked up normally, not when I sit at the traffic lights or in traffic) after about 10 minutes it stops, but it's like the handbrake doesn't release the brakes enough or something... Any ideas guys?? I have lowered it on 40mm springs but don't know if that would effect anything :/ (seems to be only after being left for some time)

if you didnt adjust the rear brake load compensator valve,the car being lowered makes it think the car has rear passengers,and applies more braking to the rear.theres a cpl of links in the forums but i suck at putting links in

any water getting in the cable rusts it inside, thats cables life over. check fot damage /splitness

nope just the mentioned brake valve and use your hands after wiping durt off cables to feel properly
