GuyH08's Red k11

there easy as pie to service :D all i do is replace the oil filter, fuel filter, oil (and spark plugs dependent)

i do struggle to reach the oil filter though :S so i tend to leave it, i have 3brand new oil filters in a halfords bag in my shed that i brought for each service lol..

filters a piece of #### as long as you get your arm out of the way as you unscrew it, hot oil, ouch!

haha, it is in a proper hard to get to place, iv had a look:p

if you do it yourself does it still count?

nah its not difficult on a micra, one of the easiest cars tbh.
It doesn't count as service history casue you cant prove it, but it does the same job!

lol...hot oil? leave it over night to cool down :D...

but all in all its simple and save you money :)

get a garage to stamp the service book ;)..iirc its illegal, but just slip them a tenner lol

or wait until the engine cools down :)

hot oil...not good

but i could write it in my little service book...couldnt i ;)

yer i write down when i have done them, If someone seemed genuine i would believe they had done the services.

Neither of you realise that the engine is supposed to be hot before draining oil then, when it is at its most viscous and will drain more out.

haha, that may be an idea ;)
i can make stamps at work :wasntme:...i might have a little business idea going here... :)

anyone want a service stamp...£10 :D haha...im just kidding

oh yeh, thats a very good point, oil is thicker when cool, so some will still be left behind

Tiny Update!

Tiny tiny update,

Changed the Red L.E.D that flashes when the ignotion is off, to a blue L.E.D.
Now...my bro thinks this will fail a M.O.T because he sais you cant have blue flashing lights/L.E.D'S inside a car, but it only flashes when the ignition is of...

Thoughts?

Cheers

no wont fail...the primera lads changed them to blue LED's over the standard red ones. and there in the passanger side of dash near windowscreen on primera's :)

oh right cool :)
Thought it would be a bit silly failing a m.o.t for something like that.

Thanks for that lads (Y)

UPDATE! - 50-55mm Lower

took just over a hour to do all 4 springs, was not as hard as i thought it would be.
Car looks so much better imo, but springs still need to settle down.
