It was. More people did stuff then rather than just talking about it all the time. People like Jo/John/Dave/James/Kev/Ben/Stuart and many other passed members were innovators and really left their mark in a good way.

I think I caught the tail end of these days, joining in April 2004 (4 years here this month!)

JAE 2004 I think was my favourite JAE, maybe just because everything was all new! Definitely hoping Mersea Island recaptures the "close-knit" feeling JAE 2004 had!

Cracking videos! Really inspirational too - some marketing of the club is definitely needed. Especially since, as far as Google could tell me, this was the only Micra club on the Internet! Would a relaunch campaign be advisable? I mean, I do press releases for my choir, I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think of some stuff for MSC :grinning: Because it looks absolutely awesome in those videos!

04 was my first one too James, infact I crashed in your tent. Was a great event. Slim being a major highlight off the top of my head. Would have been nice to experience the previous ones but didn't know about the MSC or even have a car at that point!

It was owned by a guy called Stewart - forum name stupot.

To be honest the kit was never fitted properly at various stages, cut and shut, didn't line up too well, big air gaps between panels etc.

I only seem to have this one image of it, I think a member on here now owns it, posted up in the intro forum a while back. Might even be in the K11 pics thread.

Lol nice vids. Think I joined when I was 16, going on 17 so 2001, but first show was 2003 I think. Damn, that was a while ago!!! Good memories though, all of the shows were better then lol.

Lookin at your pics Arnold I'm sure I must have gone in 03 because I thought I went to billing twice and it was in peterboro from 05 so I must have gone in 03. 03 in the k10 and 04 in the carina!
