Fuel gauge

Has anyone had problems with there fuel gauge, sometimes it takes an age for it to move to full.

I had same problem in last April, when I picked my -06 160SR from Netherlands. Fuel gauge mechanism was frozen. Problem was solved during the trip from Netherlands to Finland. Lots of full fuel tanks caused mechanism start to work correctly.
