Front wheel bearings

Hello
It seems that at least on of the front wheel bearings is faulty,and it is making a LOT of noise.
i will replace it,but i was thinking of replacing both.
is it a good choice or i should just replace only the noisy one?
Is it possible that i have high fuel consumption if i have faulty wheel bearings?i suppose i have greater resistance due to higher friction.

the noise is intolerable

wheel bearings, shocks, brake pads/shoes/discs/drums should always be replaced in pairs, in my opinion.

weird **** happened.i went to the mechanic and he told me that the faulty ones were the rear and not the front.lol...
so i had to take them back to change them...
