I have aquired a second manifold for my cg10 and want to cut and re weld it to make it less restrictive ala Frankspeed, have seen a few pictures but just wondered if anyone had any others, or any descriptions to add to ensure I'm on the right path!
From what I can tell it's a case of cutting out the y shaped section and fabricating a thinner steel piece and welding it back on (with bosses for sensors etc)
Just can't help feeling I'm missing something! So any pictures or descriptions would help!
Also once I get underway I would post a guide/log of how I did it if people were interested!

some cast iron just wont take weld, i welded a little honda mani once and the weld literally fell off ! but the cg mani,s weld really nice
