Hi all. If you are in Ireland, try Danny at Car Hoods Ireland. http://www.carhoodsireland.ie/Nissan.html He has a supplier who makes these to order. He's a really friendly, helpful chap. He gave me some great advice for a supplier in England, which is Car Hoods Northern. http://carhoodsnorthern.co.uk I spoke to a man named Vic and this company could not have been more helpful. Usually you would have to take your car to the get the hood fitted and wait a few days until it is done. Not so here. Once the hood has arrived, the fitter will bring your hood down to you and fit it there and then, if possible. If not, they will take it away on a low-loader and do it for you over a couple of days. The sub-contracted fitter who came to see me is called Joe and he is from Eiite Windscreens and Softops (07711 767972). He has 40 years' experience. He did a lovely job on my micra and it's great to have confidence that there are professionals out there who do specialise in replacing these hoods and do a great job for a competitive price. It cost under £1000, all in, for everything and has a year's guarantee. Fab! I will add some pics eventually, but I hope this information is useful for others who may be needing a new roof before the winter! :)
