Fitting MG spoiler onto K12

Hey new here guys!
I bought a rover MG spoiler for my k12 based on someone else old post on here had one for theirs.
My local garage wouldn’t fit it due to the lumps on the back of my car! Said it wouldn’t fit nicely at all. They told me if I found a way someone can do it they would try it for me and kept my spoiler at the garage. Is there anyway anyone has done it before please. And have a way to write it out so I can get my local to do it please !!

This is an interesting question and I'm sure someone will have tried this before.
I have not attempted to install one of these but would sure be interested to see one being installed or made to fit on
And what location exactly to mount it.
I am looking at the roof and thinking would it be placed here or on the boot. I would imagine best spot if possible would be the boot.

Anyhow I will include this picture of my rear spoiler that is a factory fitted one.
If this is the spot it would go. I cannot see how those bumps on the roof or door would get in the way. Unless its positioned in such a way that it is over them.
Good luck getting the thing fitted and please show us the finished install if possible.
