Fitted New DASH Lights.... Problem

Hi, Replaced all the dash pod lights on my 1993 K11 Super S, before it didnt light 80+ on the speedo! now it lights the rev counter and upto 60 on the speedo, but while the handbrake is on! when i drop the handbrake this sectionn goes off and i am left with the fuel and 60+ lit up with lights, handbrake back on and they all light up again! what is the problem??

Anyone ever heard of this problem? i took some bulbs out that worked as they were blue, to repalce all with white bulbs? any help appreciated Thanks Conor

only thing i can think of is give the connection at the back a GOOOOD squeeze, I had to drive home with only the fuel and up to 40 lit because the connector was ever so slightly loose.

I had this problem with my old SLX, but i cant remember how to solve it, i bought some new blue led lights and all went perfect
