Fan Belt?

I get terrible squealing from the engine when the i start the car quite often, i'm assuming it's the fanbelt. So i need your help...
What part is it im exactly looking for to replace it and is there a guide to help me do it.

Squeel? - It could be the lack of grease in the starter motor.

Oh, just reread, if you get the constant squeal then yes, I would say one of the pulleys are becoming faulty.

There are no fan belts in Micras (prefacelifts anyway, don't know about facelifts) but one of my neighbours' had a squeal on starting, would think it's the alternator belt.

I didn't think it was the fan belt after having looked for the parts but that's what's commonly associated with that squealing noise. So it's likely the alternator belt then, i'll get looking into that.

im having the same squeeking noise and its coming from the alternator belt (Y)

there isn't any fan belt in micra
it's common to be the alternator belt
