Failed MOT CO fast idle

Hey i had my SR micra in yesterday for an MOT and it only failed on emissions at fast idle. 0.30 is the limit and the best they could manage was 0.31! Do you think i should just lean that small section of the nistune map to get it through or does someone have a more definite option.

It has stock ecu/injectors/maf/lambda/cat/catback exhaust currently so i thought i would pass

That's exactly what most people do. They just lean the map out for the MOT and then put it back to stock afterwards.

Cool ill do that and take the laptop along with me just incase ??

Cannot get the car to start with the nistune ecu, tried a couple of maps aswell as changing my maf as it seems to think my maf is faulty when its not....

Resolved maybe, the nistune ecu i have is non nats so i need to swap over a few pinoits first before it should start
