This is a k11 1.3 ECU (has NATS1 immobiliser) fitted with a Nistune type4 daughter board (programmed with a turbo map from previous user).

Cannot guarantee the daughterboard and/or ecu will be compatible with your k11 loom/ecu. Run at your own risk.

Tuning the daughterboard will require a nistune compatible Consult cable and a individual/commercial Nistune software licence.

I highly recommend getting it fitted and remapped for your particular setup by a specialist (such as Ed from Fusion Motorsport)

thats a mega bargain paul ! i doubt if Ed would charge much to load one of his basemaps on (like i,m running atm) glws :)

how much should it be? I based mine on the cost of the ecu (£50) and importing the board from nistune would be $310aus (£200), ah ok should be £250..corrected:oops:

oh just to fill in on the compatability issue I mentioned to rally-rob:

"the ecu & nistune communicated with my laptop fine, its just the NATS which prevented it working on mine.

when i plugged the NATS1 ecu with this daughterboard on my NATS2 loom, i could still connect, download, edit the nistune map and see the ecu sensor readings but cos of the NATS mismatch it won't spark/run.

when i tried plugging this daughterboard into my NATS2 ecu that matches the NATS2 loom (to take NATS outa the equation), the engine light wasn't on and couldn't start it, as though the daughterboard is matched with the ecu its programmed with (dunno). I remember Ed having this similar engine light issue before when he fitted nistune on my NATS ecu for the first time (think it was an incomplete address file or sumthing)

hence why i suggested Ed being the specialist to fit it cos he knows all bout them (and figured out how to use em on NATS ecu since mine was the first casestudy) and he's prob the only certified person in uk i know who would use and fit these boards on k11 so this was prob one of his project"

rally_rob was tempted but not comfirmed dibs yet.

I can't be sure but to my knowledge:

NATS1 has a remote immobiliser, NATS chipped key, barrel sensor ring unit loom plug is different to mine (just a sec lemme photo the barrel sensor plug), dunno if it has a seperate external NATS decode module.

NATS2 (if that's mine) has a NATS chipped key, barrel sensor ring, seperate cylinder-looking external NATS decode module elsewhere on the loom.
dunno what nats the facelift uses?

Will this work on a pre facelift k11 loom? Ive got a 1994 super S

I cannot guarantee if this daughterboard and/or NATS ecu will work on ur ecu or loom, prob best to discuss with a nistune/k11 specialist such as Ed to see if it's possible.

to my knowledge, the early prefacelift k11 1993-1997 had a smaller 1/2 size type ecu. my NATS2 bosch ecu was from a 1998 1.3 SLX during the facelift transition period (so could be an early facelift ecu?).

this NATS1 ecu appears to have the same enclosure n board but earlier type of NATS so it could be a late-prefacelift ecu?

tis all assumption tbh and best find out with Ed or any nistune specialist beforehand

i think the type 4 board started about 95 paul ? my k11,s (96 and 97) have the type 4 ecu :) and the nistune fits the nats and non nats type 4 ecu eh

ah there u go, nistunes site also states K11 Micra (CG10DE/CG13DE) [later model] ;)

All K11s are type 4

Ed when I put this daughterboard on my current ecu the engine light didn't light and couldn't start. Could it be that the board stores some nats feature or it's a ecu jumper issue?

Looks the same board as what u fitted on mine.

Just wanna check ur able to make this daughterboard work on the buyers ecu if its the right type

It just needs programming correctly polly. The ECUs will be different versions.
