F/s: Advanti cams

Gauging interest on these.

They are made from what looks like tufftrided steel (uniformed gray colour)

the markings are

IN.085.248s
EX.084.238s

They are for the CG13DE and CG10DE. I never fitted them myself, but i read somewhere that these will bring power band up to between 3200-7400rpm.

Would these be direct replacement or would you require new shims making up

FYI, they have non oem base circles, so will require re-shimming, as they are smaller.

i had these, they will fit in as a direct fitment as they arent wildly different to pipers, but they are a better profile and will give better gains.
they will need shims if you require a 100% finish, i, however, ran them without and they fitted (all gaps measured) perfectly.

they are extremely rare, i had a set and if i am right i think these may be the set i had....

Yeah i got some cams from japan, standard intake n2 exhaust but figured if the price is okay with shipping go with these as they will go straight in.

Bit dubious on the JP auctions as you are never 100% on what you get

nah, the wilder the better, if you,re spending hundreds to cam your engine, you may as well go the full monty (i learnt the hard way fwn, and chrismo did)

they would make a 1.0 scream its nuts off, i recon with a 1.0, advanti cams, rev limiter mod and full janspeed you would be pushing close to 85bhp and reving well over 8000rpm.

Would the 1.0 gearbox actually cope with the increased power? I heard somewhere that would be bad news.

it would cope, 2nd gear might give up the ghost but how much is a cg13 gearbox?
