If anybody is under their car can they take some pics of the exhaust rubbers on the back box and mid section?
I've got my MOT coming up on Wednesday and I'm pretty sure the only thing that is going to give me any trouble is the rattle coming from the exhaust, especially the back box. I'm don't think the rubbers that are on there are the right ones. They don't seem to allow the exhaust to hang low enough for the bolts attached to the rubbers to clear the metal mounts (which is what is causing the noise). They are also all different. It would be useful to see what the rubbers should look like. The only other thing I can think of is if the exhaust has been badly fitted and is causing it to pull against the rubbers and raise it up.
