I am going to replace the engine in a 1.0l auto 2000 micra. It is an automatic but what I would like to know is will a 1.0l manual fit to a 1.0l auto gearbox?
I want to just source any engine instead of an engine with automatic gear box.
Hi frank, it is a distributor engine, developed a really bad knock from what sounds like the centre of the block. A friend has a mot failure with a good engine and i was just going to swap them over.
its the same crank-to-flywheel fitment on all the CG,s jonny, the later (post 2000) auto,s have a bigger centrebore tho (and have a spigot ring adapter thingy that you have to swap over)
is yours coilpack ?
