Engine idle increase when i switch lights on?

Im not 100% sure this is normal but is it? When i turn the headlights on the engine idle speeds up and slows down when i turn them off.. i presume this is normal in a k11 but not sure so here i am

Hi John, when the electrical system gets loaded, say with lights on or A/C for example, the idle increases slightly to compensate. Perfectly normal mate, nothing to worry about.

Thanx ...was thinking that but wasn't sure lol been a long time since ive worked on cars thank you for clearing it up for me
