Hi ... im new to here
Forgive me I'm not mechanically minded
I'm building an engine which has to be 1000cc k11 distributer block and head
Im just sorting all the parts out before I start building
Planning on having it overbored to 72.5 which are the best off the shelf pistons use... Been told Vauxhall or suzuki
I know I need to deck the block but how does that affect the chain
I have to run a standard cam but which 1 would be best the 1.3 or1.4 modified to fit dizzy...

Its for oval racing so Whats the max rpm these can run at before they blow

Which corsa pistons are favoured without the compression ratio being to high... I've noticed there is 2 sorts that fit 1 is flat top and 1 has a 1.5mm dish

That's a cheap price you got for decking and reboring.... Cheapest I can find is 200 plus vat and 150 plus vat to have it all balanced
