Dyno day

After having a conversation with Steve at dyno demon about a possible dyno day he emailed me this information

Good morning,
Thanks for the interest in a dyno day, for 15 or more cars we'll do (Micra's
other makes will be at the higher price) for £30/car, less than that number
it'll be £35/car. As you've been before you'll know the format, three runs
with graphs of AFR and road power, on the second flywheel and torque.
Complimentary tea and coffee all day, and most importantly a butty run to
the local greasy spoon at some point during the morning!!
Many thanks and best regards,

Steve Walmsley
Director
Dyno Demon Limited

Getting there
Remember if we get 15 people we get the cheaper rate but don't forget it may be 35 quid if you bring a none Micra, as I may be in either my Micra s14 or rx8 I'm already expecting to pay the £35 haha

well im hoping to make it i just need 2 fuel pumps and a swirl pot for mine to get it running but im strapped for cash at the min but if its after crimbo then i should be able to make it. you looking for january sort of time martin?

Probably jan-feb time mate not sure yet as not much activity as of yet :( but 5-6 people would be a reasonable turn out for us I guess

Be a shame as it's a good day I've done a few there you get a nice little glossy folder with your results, free bru's as many as you can drink, and if were there long enough ie enough people we get a good sloppy bacon butty run! It's a good laugh

Lol you don't need to dyno one it's got the ps on the boot!
Well let's have a refresh of who fancies this as I will be taxing the celica this week so I'll finally have a car to use (legally)
Ideally the more the merrier I'm not gonna get them to open on a weekend and do dyno runs for 4 people there's no real money in it for them, so doubt theyd do it anyway!
Also there will be a none refundable deposit required to stop people booking spots with no real intention of coming!
As i said 10 would be ideal once I've got a decent idea of who wants to come, I will book it and then offer spaces out to people from the other clubs!
I'm happy for you to have a friend bring their cars to run also but only after we have a final msc member count

Right, now I've had the new cat fitted, my car's finally dyno-worthy! Let's try and get a round half dozen of us and get this thing arranged :).

1. Gstnissanboy Micra (hopefully)
2. Karl toyota yaris
3. Tomwest
4. Sr20bud?
5. Guy K12

GTSnissan: do you know if its a 2 or 4 wheel drive dyno. my brother has stated an interest but has a subaru justy AWD. he's definitely one to put in the numbers if its a 4by4 dyno.

Dynodemon are Subaru specialists, so yes. Plus it's a Dyno Dynamics rolling road :)

if this is still on im still up for it cause i will have the corolla insured on monday:) and could do with a blast out in it as i haven't drove in nearly a year lol.

this site needs a regular mod for $hite like this
Because we can all be active at 3am when that was posted.

Dealt with now.

Also, if you actually report the spam, it helps us find it. Bear in mind how much content is posted on the site, we can't vet it all!

Indeed they are, it all went quiet on the dyno front from DD I've contacted them but due to the lack of communication I'm going to ask somewhere else, was thinking of tuning developments
PLEASE BE AWARE NOT TDI, tuning developments are a different company to TDI going by a previous few visits to TDI I wouldnt be using TDI as there Dyno seems to be unreliable at best, maybe they've sorted the inaccuracies but frankly I'm not paying to find out
Numbers are the biggest issue really as we can't seem to get allot :(
But I'll get emailing and report back :)
