hi i have a 1999 micra 5 door and the drivers door has dropped a bit (4mm)
how do i adjust it up so it sits nice on the catch thanks JP

You will probably need to replace the hinges

it's common on the k11's I'm afraid. A new set of pins for the hinges will be around £40, unless it bothers you massively don't bother changing them as they are a pain to do

in the old fords thay just sold you bigger hinge pins to take the slack ok thanks

yearh my drivers door pin is the same, door doesnt shut unless you give it some force...doesnt bother me tho.

there might be enough free play in the bolts to lift the door back up a bit, you could see if you could adjust it a bit

I read somewhere else on the forum that there is a complete guide to changing the pictures. Is there a page anywhere with the forums or on the internet showing how to remove the side fender panel etc. in changing the hinges?

Noob to anything bodywork-y so it'd need to be a easy to follow, if not I could still try as it does bother me.

i got hinges from a scrap yard for £5, they worked perfectly but you will have to take them off the scrap car yourself
