Do those bluetooth elm327 OBD II code readers work on a K12 Micra

Sorry But I can't say anything about that one, I use ELM327 with wifi, I had one with Bluetooth and it didn't work with my iPhone or iPad!
And the one with wifi, it work just fine!
Hope that helped answering to your question.
Best regards.

Could you please let us know what brand/model you found that works?

TIA :)

edit:
I found this via a Kashkai forum post by someone who says it worked on his K12 and K13: http://web.archive.org/web/20150226040424/http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400711424660

Apparently it's a Mini ELM327 V1.5 Bluetooth ODB2

Sorry to takes ages to reply I thought I had.

The one that I got was from amazon and was a white one, like this one, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-...ie=UTF8&qid=1464611990&sr=8-121&keywords=obd2 but was still from china and the cheapest one.

The two that failed were like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/TOOGOO-Ver...ie=UTF8&qid=1464614427&sr=8-44&keywords=obdii I still have them if you want to see if they work for you.

I'm in Australia, but thanks anyway.

I ended up taking a $3 gamble on one of the cheap ones on ebay, and it seemed to work, during the 30 seconds or so that I tried it out. Haven't had time since to get back to testing it properly, but it looks to be working fine. It's a bit of a bugger to pull the thing out afterwards though, and I wouldn't want to leave it plugged in 24/7 as it seems to draw power even when the key's not in the ignition.

I have the same problem with a ELM327 Mini. The phone is paired via bluetooth successfully but the apps can't connect to the ECU.
It's a small blue adapter for less than 5 pounds on Amazon. And when connected it shows red light and other blinking green lights...I've installed many OBD apps and they all failed to connect to the ECU.
Looks like there is a communication protocol issue

Be sure to give it plenty of time to make the initial connections. From memory, mine took a little while to pair (up to 30 seconds) and then another little while to start showing readings on the Android phone.

The best way to demonstrate would be to take a video of the process; I'll see if I can manage to do that in the next day or so, if that would help.
