DIY Window tints?

you'd save some, but unless you're really good
at DIY, you'd end up paying someone else to do it again :)
This is what I have to do now LOL

the rear windows are easy to do but do ask if the rear hatch film has been moulded to shape.
due to the curvature of the rear hatch, its not possible to stick a flat bit of cilm onto it (i tried and failed not once but twice!)

if the rear film is not moulded to shape then you need to lay the film on the outside and get a heat gun to shrink the film to fit the curvature of the glass.

is not hard to get a good finish, just make sure when you handle the film, dont fold it or put creases in by accident.
when squeegying (sorry spelling) make you theres no sharp edges on your squeegy. credit card are good for this.

little trick on the windows that open. once film is dry (giv it 2 days to fully dry before opening windows) get some nail varnish and paint in the top of the film and glass, this will help prevent the film peeling when the window is closing and rubbing the top of the door.
