Dials have stopped working

Hi all

For some reason my dials have stopped working (fuel temp and speedo, Mile meter) everything lights up but nothing seems to move or counter even if i press the button on the face of the dials they do nothing

also my inside lights and cd player does not work im thinking they are linked

so far i have checked all fuses and renewed them just in case

my thought is the dials are dead

Can anyone help

take the cluster outer part of and unscrew the actual dail and check if everything is connect properly that could be the problem matey and i don't think the cd player has anything to do with it, but i am just taking a wild guess about the cd player

hhhmm ok well it was working fine last night when i took her to get a kebab lol and jumped in this morning and nothing i will rip it out tomorrow and take a look

If the stereo has been grounded to the illumination wire which controls dimming.. You may very well have an issue? Recently installed stereo?

previous owner fitted iso cables and i have jsut plugged my cd player into them and nothing
