CVT fluid Flush

Ok I know I can't be the first to ask this but I tried searching for an answer but couldn't get a good understanding. I'm going to perform a CVT flush tomorrow and wanted some quick tips. I have the Haynes Manual and it tells me to remove the drain plug drain for 10 min tighten back, fill up fluid that came out. I thought maybe there is some fluid in the radiator that need to be pumped out. So my question is the drain plug the big bolt on the left side? A picture would be greatly appreciated because the Haynes manual doesn't have one and if there is fluid in the radiator is it the pipe on the left that needs to be removed as well and ran for a bit till it looks clean? I have a 96 nissan micra 1.0 CVT auto and I'm in Germany so the drivers side is on the left. Appreciate any help I'll post some pics if this helps anybody else too.
