cvt boxes

i've been to a scrappy today and found a pre facelift k11 with an cvt box would this box fit on our facelift micra ours is 1ltr but i dont know if the other one is a 1.3ltr,the gear shift is the same as ours with d and ds i only want it as a spare cos as you know a failed cvt box can write a car off due to cost of repairing.

in around 2000 did they change the cvt box for a totally different type meaning the box i saw today would fit as our micra is on a "v" plate 2000 dissy type.
the scrappy only wants £150 for the box and powder clutch with a 3 mth gt so this is why i am interested in it

the post 2000 ones have a filter on the top, and a torque converter instead of the powder clutch (with 4 bolts on the driveplate, instead of 3)
