Hi guys and gals Sorry to come across stupid but I am currently changing out the drive shafts on a 1.4 facelift jdm Nissan march The cv joint ends have what I can best explain looks like a large GEAR ⚙️ around the outer diameter of the cv joint metal cup that meets with the hub I looked at other k11 drive shafts I have here myself from 1.3 k11 and 1ltr k11 mainly preface ones and the do not have this part So can someone knowledgeable kindly explain to me what the purpose of this gear looking like piece is for? WOULD I BE CORRECT IN SAYING ITS AN ABS RING? By the way it is a facelift jdm k11 march automatic 1.4 Thanks See here in this link the toothed gear like part I’m on about is on the left side https://autoparts.beforward.jp/detail/Transmission---Drivetrain/Drive-Shafts/PA50593654/
