Corsa piston build with throttle bodies

Think the tps that's on these itbs is no good, wired it up to where I think it's correct
Even spoke to a Yamaha specialist, but there's two in these itbs and they talk to each other

Tried the micra one, but the way the valves open is backwards to the micra throttle
So I'd have to mount it on the opposite side, on the throttle cable linkage somehow to get it to work......chore!

Paul skinner suggested mounting it to the accelerator pedal, which might be worth a go

I've redone the timing

I've got a half link in the lower chain......... does it matter what 'side' of the sprocket it is

No I didn't take one mate

I've got the link on the tight/right side at the moment

All the coloured links are on the correct marks on the sprockets

Should I move the lower chain so the half link is on the slack/left side?

you can move the idler sprocket eh, half a turn on the idler and reposition everything moves the cams half a tooth iirc

if you do tdc on cyl 4 instead of cyl 1 mate, it turns the idler half a turn, then redo the cams and you will be half a tooth back

What about this half link I've got? Should I try putting it the other side,

Engine back in

All timing in right place........still does same thing, runs on cylinder 2 only

......because I'm only getting fuel to cylinder 2

I have the maf connected, and the micra tps

I made myself a comp tester too

I've got about 12 bar on each cylinder

Any suggestions, I'm running out of time now.........we've just bought a new workshop.......and got a week to get this thing moving lol

Didn't have any to try today

With the plugs out, then crank it,,u can only see a puff of fuel from cylv2

And that's the only one that ingnites

Yeah man, I've even tried a spare set

What could be stopping the signal to the injectors

It is a nats ecu

Everything is connected

It was a running car, I've just put a different engine in, with these itbs

Spose I can spice in a pressure gauge to check pressure

Haven't got a data thing to check ecu

Can you do the check withb the LED? should tell you if it's sending a signal, do the injectors all have 12V? they are triggered on earth so all 4 should have 12V all the time. Are the connectors clean?

Il do the led test next time I'm there

I bought it as a running car, and only swappped the engine, so all electrical parts are the same, nothings unplugged, all clean too got spark and compression, just no fuel

Checked all the fuses too, I have fuel in the rail

Hmmmmm, led test shows I have injector signal

Fuel pressure next I guess

Id have the rail off the inlet with all connections still attached and put card underneath the injectors to double check. Then if number 2 is the only one firing put the 2nd injector plug onto another injectors and see of it fires

Right, I have 50 psi of fuel

Injector 2 was leaking, massively before I'd even cranked it, fuel was pissimg out

Swapped that, cranked it onto some card......and yes, I have fuel pulsing out

I have spark, I have fuel, and I have compression
Timing is all all correct

What is it!?

Id maybe check that the fuel is returning to the tank ok by removing the pipe below the carbon cannister and putting it in a bottle. Also make sure its not kinked or the pipe underneath is dented

50psi is a bit high

Strange though that I drove it there, swapped engine, and now won't work
