Cobra Bucket frames

you carnt buy them for the micra..the standard rails have to be modified to suit the bucket seats...

i manged to fit my cobra clubman to my standard frame as the 2 front bolt holes lined up. but the rears are way out. it was only held on with 2 front bolts and no rear ones...it wasnt very safe LOL

so i could put them on the original runner, then extend that and weld it?

yearh the front bolts should fit...but you would need to weld a longer plate on the rear and bolt the rear bolts into them if you get me? lol

so extend the runner by welding the plate, then bolt that plate to the bottom of the chair?

if it wasnt a daily driver i'd just blot the ####ers to the floor rally style lol but i cant,

so thats the best option?

iam not sure. i didnt give matt a thought lol. he might sell them. but i know nowhere else does them. the guys in japan fit corrolla ae86 seat frames (they are the same bar one bolt hole that needs drilling)


still expensive tho :O

would universal sliders fit on the micra ones?

i dont know. but i still reckon they would be more work to fit than fitting the seats to strandard micra frames.

i found some on ebay, have mailed the guy to see if they will fit as they are advertised as bucket seat ones...
