Finally got around to masking and applying clear coat to the areas I had previously primed and base coated. I bought the car back in December with large areas of paint flaking off, and getting steadily worse. It's a 2003 in Cornflower Blue, I saw a same year and colour K12 with similar paint issues. I got the rattle cans in Halford's after Christmas, but you wouldn't want to rush these things. It's not a perfect job by any means, but a lot better and more stable than it was.
Polishing will be with AutoGgym SRP by hand, the can says to wait 2 weeks before polishing, I wonder is that necessary and how soon I can wash it?
