Cleaning IAC valve

Hi,

My wife has a K12 w/ CR12DE engine. Yesterday and today we noticed that it had a very low idle during the first start, almost stalling. Based from what I read it might have to do something w/ IAC. Most suggest to clean it first before replacing.

I looked at a photo around the net, it seems the IAC of a CR12DE and CR14DE is on single assembly unlike most other older engines. Photo below is not mine, but the most clear one showing the throttle body.

Also since I can't seem to spray carb cleaner while its running as the throttle body is connected to the valve cover. I am hoping to just open air cleaner and spray from there and w/ some luck some of gunk gets out.

Anybody here knows how to clean the IAC of a CR12DE or CR14DE? Thanks.
