Changing DCI 65BHP Turbo

Looks like just a few bolts, disconnect any sensor connectors and the vac line from the wastegate :).

There's three bolts hold the turbo to the manifold and 4 hold the cat to the turbo, I finds it easier to do it by driving the cat from the whole down the vmback of the engine completely, the Fred and return need to be removed and ideally cleaned through, where shouts are you from?

I'd plan on having to take the exhaust manifold off to get at the rusty bolts securing the turbo. You might also snap the downpipe bolts so get new ones for that too.

From what I rmember it's easier to see with the EGR assembly off, so whilst you are at it plan on cleaning that out too, make a day of it.

WD40 every bolt/nut the night before you start to free them up.

Pre oil the turbo by pouring a little oil through the oil intake and turn it manually to lube it up.

Remove the fuel pump fuse and turn the engine over a few times after you have it together build up the oil pressure and remove any air bubbles from the oil line.

Replace the fuse and let it idle until warm before revving the engine.
