CG13DE new con rod and crank shaft (race)bearings?

I was wondering.. are there any types of race bearings avaidable for my CG13DE?
When i'm fitting my 1.0 pistons on my CG13, i want to replace the conrod and crankshaft bearings.

In stead of fitting Nissan genuine bearing, i would rather fit racing ones.
Does anyone have any experiance with replacing bearings?

And where can i order those?

i doubt you will find better than the genuine ones jeroen personally, and they wont be graded (they will be just 1 size)

Frank's right. Say what you want about Nissan but their parts are TOP quality :).

You doubt there will be better ones, but are there better ones? does King bearings, ACL, BEAR or other brands make the so-called race bearings?

just wondered..

And about the genuine bearings.. are they one size fits al? (so i mean one uni size for CG13 and one uni size for CG10)

the 1.0, 1.3 and 1.4 shells are the same jeroen, and there are about 7 grades/sizes of mains and 4 grades of bigends iirc

Today i ripped a CG13 a part..

I am going to replace this bearings (rod, main and thrust washers)..
What about the grades?

The underblock says:

2222

12333

The Crankshaft says:

01100

What kind of bearingnumbers do i have to order?

Rod bearings: 2222?

Big ends: 12333 (underblock) + 01100 (Crank) = 13433?

Kind regards

Maybe i use some wrong names...

So the bearings on my piston rods are called big ends, and the bearings on my crankshaft are called main bearings?

I am thinking of not placing race bearings.. Just stock ones..
I won't use a turbo, so i don't need race bearings...

So i now have to order:
2222 big end bearings

13433 main bearings?

yes that looks right to me jeroen :grinning: or you might want to get the crank micro-polished and get 1 size tighter maybe ? (or polish the journals yourself with G3 cutting compound)

Now i am mailing with someone about bearing and he asked me about the size. He asked me: "are the rod bearings standard of oversized?"

Is there only one size standard bearings for my rod avaidable?
I guess my rod bearings are standard size? where does the 2222 on the underblock stand for than?

aftermarket options are usually standard size or undersize jeroen (for when you have the crank reground)
your 2222 is the nissan grade/size of big-end shell

trust me, get them from nissan. theyre not that expensive.
standard size or over sized seams to mean that they only have 2 sizes in and neither of them are the ones you want..lol

Finally, i solved the case!

Rod bearings
Nissan only has STD (standard) bearings made for the Piston rods. You can get standard and oversizes (if you have your rods micro-polished).

Ordernumber:
1x 1211199b25 is a complete set rod bearings.

Crankshaft bearings
Nissan had made STD bearings in seven gradings (going 0 to grade 6). For each grade you can get two oversizes sizes.

Ordernumbers (for each ordernumber you'll get 2 shells. 1 top, 1 bottom):
1220799B00 = Grade 0
1220799B01 = Grade 1
1220799B02 = Grade 2
1220799B03 = Grade 3
1220799B04 = Grade 4
1220799B05 = Grade 5
1220799B06 = Grade 6

My grades are 12333 (underblock) + 01100 (crankshaft) = 13433
So i need 1x 1220799B01, 3x 1220799B03 and 1x 1220799B04

Thrustwashers:
Nissan had only one size Thrustwashers, so one size fits al!

Ordernumber:
1228099B25 (set of 2 thrustwashers)

Hopefully this information is usefull to somebody!
