Cg13de ecu query

I made the mistake of not purchasing the ecu with my 1.3 engine.

Can i just fit any ole ECU or does to be a 1300 and from the same year of car?

Do i need anything else I.E the sensor for my ignition key?

use the 1.0 ecu i believe frank is doing the same but with the cga engine

what about fueling tho......cus the ecu is programmed to a stock setting and ill be using more fuel and air with a CG13 fitted........or wont it?

yeh, both of my cars run fine with the original 1.0 ecu,s, and your ecu is matched/programmed to your key jas

im not sure mate to be honest. there was a thread about this a while ago, ill try n dig it up for you unless frank comes along

im not having much luck, msc search function is pants and google only seems to want to come up with one thread at a time

baguete has posted some fuelmaps up (in his blog ?) and there,s very little difference iirc (like the mainjets in the 1.0 and 1.2 k10 carbs, where the 1.0 one is slightly bigger, strangely )
and i think micra_pete posted many moons ago that the 1.0 spark timing map has more total advance iirc, so you may need to set the dizzy at 10 deg instead of the stock 15 deg ?

hmm tricky man....my engineer can do it no probs but i wanna keep it as simple as possible and not create any problems,lol.
