cg10 vs cg13

would a cg10 a k11 1.0l engine with 1.3 cams and bigger injectors etc be able to beat a cg13. whats the main difference in performance in the two on accleration and top end?

just a random debate i was thinking of...

any suggestions?

Cg13 is stroked to get the extra capacity afaik, so in therory should be less inclined to rev, but have more tourqe and produce more power throughout the rev range. Someone will be along shortly with a proper answer. A worked cg10 is going to need more than that to get to stock cg13 power. There's no substitute for inches* as they say across the pond.

+1 you can easily get 80hp from a 1.0 @ 7 k, but it,ll never have the grunt of a 1.3 fwn

i think if your going to put money onto tuning an engine you may as well start with the 1.3
