Central Locking Help

well i eventually fitted my central locking motors inside the doors from my old car to find its not working properly. the only thing that works is the flick switch on my door card which locks the passenger door only, had a look on here to find i may need one of these as i dont remember taking one:

is this the missing piece to my jigsaw??

Your old one would have had the central locking that is just a switch on the drivers lock, not an actuator. You are better of fitting later central locking as that has actuators in both doors so it can be unlocked from both.

Right but still, opening the driver door doesnt open the passenger. Same when locking, also the flick switch on the drivers door doesnt lock the drivers door like it used to...

That does look like the unit that controls the central locking - how have you wired it all up?
