Hi, I have a Nissan Micra 2003 model. CD's that i have brought from shops ect work fine in the stereo, but if i put in a CD i have made from my computer, it just appears with the message "CD Error" I have tried using 2 different types of blank CD's and also used 2 different programs on my computer to make the CD's but still unsuccessful! PLEASE HELP!

It could be that the CD has been burned wrong. Check if they work in a normal CD player.

some new day standard cd players wont play copied cd`s thanks to copyright they will only be able to read a cirtain type of disk so i would try a few other ways of burning a disk as micra vamp said did you make just an ordinary cd or did you try make a data cd (mp3 disk) with lots of songs on as some standard cd players wont read mp3`s

try burning your cd's at the slowest speed possible, worked for me.

The stereo on my old 2004 K12 micra, I used to have, worked fine with copied CDs and didn't have to burn them at the slowest speed or out.. More than likely as has already been said that its been burnt incorrectly.
