Here's a good one for you ladies and gents, I've thought of a few cars recently I think are only going to go up in value and might be a good investment... (Although don't take this too seriously this is just what I think may happen. Please note: All prices I've estimated are in TODAYS money and not counting inflation)
I'd be interested to know what your thoughts on these cars, and maybe some more?

Okay the obvious one.

We've all seen how E30 M3 prices are now astronomical, the trend will follow down the ranks to the "base" models, and could see this going for bigger money in the near future, I'd expect something like this to go for 5-7k at the end of the 25 years in question..

On the same lines as the BMW.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-MK1-...124?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4f07549c
Okay, so, again, probably quite obvious.t I'd expect to these to be worth 3-5k by the end of the 25 year period, purely because we WILL run out of them. These are fantastic cars to drive (If we’re to believe the reviews) and right now one of the most affordable “fun” cars you can buy.

This depends on the government... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nissan-mi...0189748&pid=100033&rk=1&rkt=4&sd=111704225966
All going well, these will achieve classic mini status. They will become sought after as a basic, small, light, fun to drive car, as out modern cars get more and more laden with technology.
UNLESS the government strangle us with more emissions rubbish, rendering these little beasts worthless... Even more so than they are now. I'd say around 1-2k.

I must stress this is purely my opinion and I'm probably totally wrong. I'd love to know your thoughts on these and some more cars. Thanks!

Totally agree on MX5s, the big problem is they're all be low and slowed or drifted, then scrapped. Clean standard ones are already reaching the 2K+ mark.

Closer to home, I reckon the Super S and SR will be next. There are only about 300 left in the UK now because of the **** heads buying them up, breaking them and scrapping them. When they're close to gone they'll do what K10s have done lately and shoot right up.

I suppose with MOST things, the harder they are to get hold of, the more expensive they become... Not true with everything, but no car from the 1950's (for example) will sell sub £1K, will it?
